Amanda Poulin, Diabetes Educator, with Novo Nordisk will be the guest speaker at the May 8, 2014 Diabetes Support Group meeting. Amanda will share information from the Diabetes Academy- Diabetes 101-including basic diabetes information and terminology, convenient tips for eating healthy and staying active, and information on diabetes medications.
The meeting begins at 4:00 pm at the SVH Leighton Street building on 130 Leighton Street in Pittsfield. The public is welcome to attend. The Diabetes Support Group of Sebasticook Valley Health meets the second Thursday of the month from 4-6 p.m. For further information, please contact the Education Department of Sebasticook Valley Health at 487-3890 extension 2731.
